Resume template
Single-column, machine-readable fonts, clean section headers. The layout recruiters see matches the layout the ATS pulls out — no lost work history, no scrambled dates.

Why this template
Applicant Tracking Systems are unglamorous regex-and-layout parsers. They read your resume top-to-bottom, left-to-right, and anything fancy — multi-column layouts, icon fonts, tables for spacing, image-based headers — can drop a section or misattribute dates to the wrong job. That costs you interviews you'll never know you missed.
The Modern template on onepage.bio is built for that reality. One logical column means the ATS reads your experience in the order you wrote it. Helvetica — a system font baked into every PDF reader — renders identically whether the recruiter opens the file in Chrome, Adobe, or Workday's internal viewer. Section headers are real text, not images, so the ATS categorizes "Experience" under experience and "Skills" under skills.
The tradeoffs are deliberate. No photo (illegal to consider in most US/UK/EU hiring). No skill bars or progress meters (ATS ignores them, and overconfident self-rating is a recruiter-rolling-eyes trope). No unusual section names ("Adventures"; "Stuff I Made"): ATS engines look for standard headers.
